Due to the increasing number of students who wanted to learn or improve their English skills, ESL companies are also booming. There are companies that just newly opened while some are up and running for a few years now.
These companies, however, have differences in terms of their compensation, nationality of students, etc. It is hard to find a company that is best for your preferences and/or qualifications.
A piece of discouraging news for some is that Filipino teachers are somewhat compensated poorly than other nationalities. Although this is relative, I would agree that no matter what a person’s nationality is, one should be paid decently.
I happen to be a part of a Facebook page that advocates a minimum of 200 pesos compensation per hour for Filipino teachers. And there are many posts about companies that pay at least 200 pesos per hour.
So, I decided to make a list of these companies to help those aspiring teachers in finding the right ESL company for them.
Note1: All the information written below are from posts of teachers who work for each company. You may find empty or missing information on each “sub-menu”, you may want to search the internet for those.
Note2: I didn’t include the common qualification of an ESL teacher such as “should be proficient in English, should have a laptop or at least 18 years old”. I believe that you should know these basic requirements and qualifications before attempting to apply for any ESL company.

FINAL WORDS:
In any field of jobs, workers deserve decent pay for their efforts and time. There is no acceptable reason for a person to be compensated poorly. In fact, there are laws about the minimum wage for every country or city.
In terms of online jobs, we should choose the company or employer that will pay us enough money to pay our bills such as internet connection bills. If your current job doesn’t do that, then I think it is better to find another.
